Believe it or not, there are no specific traditional Sukkot foods (such as matzo on Passover, cheesecake on Shavuot,
apples and honey on Rosh Hashana, etc.)
The ChefLab kitchen gets its meal inspiration from the harvest origin of the holiday, and will therefore be Harvest centered!
We will learn all about the four species, their origins and make Etrog jam and fresh date honey (lulav comes from a date palm tree).
What else? While it’s not science specifically, we’ll expand into other
STEM topics and focus on Math and learn the differences between a sukkah to any random hut
– what makes a sukkah “kosher” and design our own edible sukkot!
