Description
Believe it or not, there are no specific traditional Sukkot foods (such as matzo on Passover, cheesecake on Shavuot,
apples and honey on Rosh Hashana, etc.)
The ChefLab kitchen gets its meal inspiration from the harvest origin of the holiday, and will therefore be Harvest centered!
We will learn all about the four species, their origins and what makes them unique to Israel geographically
What else? While it’s not science specifically, we’ll expand into other
STEM topics and focus on Math and learn the differences between a sukkah to any random hut
– what makes a sukkah “kosher” and design our own edible sukkot!
And of course… It wouldn’t be ChefLab without expanding across multiple areas in science! While harvest and botany more clearly go hand in hand, can you guess the connection between the 4 species to human biology? We can! Come join us Hol-Hamoed October 20th-22nd and find out for yourself 🙂
