ChefLab campers will learn where rocks, fossils and minerals come from, how they are formed and how to classify them.
As budding Geologists, they will explore outdoor surroundings and examine various local rocks, minerals, and maybe even gems! Indoors, we will create lava lamps and (edible) fossils while learning about the earth’s layers, volcanoes and earthquakes.
Adding some history and geography into the mix, campers will work with Montessori style materials to research famous rocks around the world!
