There is so much science that goes into starting a fire however, that it’s a shame not ignite a scientific spark in the children! Our workshop will be focused on energy and electricity. Children will learn what it means for energy to travel through a closed circuit, what constitutes a battery and how it works! Can a lemon serve as a battery? Yes! Guess what? so can water and potatoes!
Who needs a bonfire to roast potatoes when you have functioning mashed potato batteries?! How many potatoes does it take to light a lightbulb?….. let’s find out!
