Apple trees , Fish heads  (OK, maybe next year..) The lunar calendar, queen bees and honeycombs! So many ways to highlight science with this holiday

Our 4-7  year olds will be buzzzzzy learning about how bees make honey, the lifecycle of an apple and how the relationship between the Earth and the moon applies to our New Year! We will learn about oxidation and make delicious healthy honey apple sauce. Where does the fish head come in? We’ll study the parts of a fish as part of the 5 classes of vertebrates and even get to dissect one! Then we’ll make sushi!
