Paleontology

Dinosaurs are fascinating for many children and we introduce them as fossils. Truth be told dinosaurs can be taught in zoology – as a reptile, or a bird. At ChefLab we introduce palaeontology as the tail-end of our geology unit and study fossils. This opens a great door to animal extinction. We then learn about endangered animals and where the can be found in the world. After classifying between plant and meat eaters we will introduce the food chain. Discuss how we are all connected and how we can do our part to protect and preserve all life on our planet.
