Units of Study

ChefLab’s original curriculum was exclusive to science - resulting in a rich variety of science units we explore. Our topics and materials were inspired by the lower elementary Montessori black-line masters. Before entering the kitchen-lab, children are presented with custom made Montessori-style materials designed to pique their curiosity and invite independant activity. Once mastered, ChefLab’ers remove their lab coats, don their chef-hats, and experiment with edible ingredients to creatively apply what they’ve learned – ChefLab style.
