At ChefLab Tzaharon we work to build a curriculum that meets the skill sets of all our children. To do so requires a diverse balance of students across a broad scale of social-emotional as well as academic needs to ensure every child is supported and challenged to the best of our ability.

We ask that you give an honest, and well rounded reflection of your child in social and academic settings. Our goal is to work with you as equal partners to provide the best environment for your child.

To complete your application there is a non – refundable application fee of 128 NIS.
Payment applies to the application process alone and does not secure registration.

Section B: Community

ChefLab is committed to a progressive and non-denominational Jewish education that is responsive to the needs of a diverse community. We encourage participation in an inclusive society and welcome diversity through exposure to a wealth of values, traditions and cultures around us. ChefLab Tzaharon provides our children with the faculties of curiosity, tolerance and cultural sensitivity. We believe that with these important traits, their interaction with the world around them will result in a deeper connection with their Jewish cultural identity and with their identification as citizens of the world at large.

Section C: Academic integration

Our program emphasises collaboration, independence and initiative; along with strong self-management and organisation skills. Our approach to educating the whole child supports the belief that high academic potential requires more than pure cognitive intellect. When both intellectual and social-emotional needs are met, the child can feel safe to explore new areas of study, internalise new information, and feed their individual curiosity.

ChefLab places a premium on creating a culture of compassion in the classroom. We believe an elite academic institution should accommodate children with special learning needs. Our classrooms are treated as social settings in which children learn to work together and to help one another. Teaching good manners and compassionate behavior is integral to developing strong, independent personalities.

* To ensure we provide the best care and tools to encourage their progress We ask this so we can be confident in our commitment to utilise the tools at our disposal and within our reach to meet each applicant’s needs.
It’s important to note that ChefLab does not discriminate. ChefLab admits children of any academic or physical ability or disability, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students in our program.

Please submit a letter (can be in Hebrew or English) from a trained professional that has worked with your child for at least a year (Such as a teacher, principal, tutor, therapist, or counsellor) describing his/her experience of the applicant’s social-emotional and intellectual integration within an academic setting.
The letter can E-mailed to [email protected] Please note that your application will only be considered upon receipt of letter.
